2. Scope & applicability
These Terms govern your use of www.rstepins.com and all purchases of products or services, including custom, bespoke, and made‑to‑order items (furniture, accessories, interior design services) offered by Raivis Stipnieks Design.
3. Orders and quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 calendar days unless otherwise stated on the offer. An order becomes binding once we send a written order confirmation or start production/procurement. Custom/made‑to‑order items are produced individually for the customer and cannot be cancelled after production has begun.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are in EUR and include VAT where applicable. Delivery, installation, and special packaging are quoted separately.
Accepted payment methods:
- Bank transfer (SEPA) – prepayment invoice
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard) via secure payment gateway
- Cash upon collection (by prior arrangement)
- For large projects – staged payments: 50% deposit to start, 50% before delivery
5. Production & delivery
Standard items: ready to ship within 2–4 weeks. Custom/bespoke pieces: production usually takes 6–10 weeks, depending on complexity.
We deliver throughout Latvia and, upon request, to other EU countries. Delivery costs are calculated individually and communicated before order confirmation. The customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report any transport damage within 48 hours with photographic evidence.
6. Right of withdrawal
For standard (non‑customised) products, EU consumers have a 14‑day withdrawal right from the day of receipt. The item must be returned unused, in original packaging, and at the customer’s expense. For custom/made‑to‑order products (including any item produced according to individual specifications, dimensions, materials, or colours), the right of withdrawal does not apply.
7. Warranty & liability
We provide a 2‑year statutory warranty for consumer goods. For professional clients, the warranty period is 1 year unless agreed otherwise. We are liable for defects existing at the time of delivery. Any further liability is limited to the extent permitted by law; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. Intellectual property
All designs, drawings, photographs, and concepts remain the exclusive intellectual property of Raivis Stipnieks Design until full payment is received. Unauthorised reproduction or imitation is prohibited.
9. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. Any dispute shall first be resolved amicably; if that is not possible, the courts of Latvia shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer forum rights.
